Thanks for the mention, Karren, and let me know if / when you have a video!
The post about Madam Mayo's tutorial on book trailers is just to let everyone know I am still cooking on how to do a book trailer. I hope to get a video going first related to a paper I am writing on Gertrude Stein. The whole world of making videos for enticement takes good planning and skills that need to be acquired.
A video is a video is a video, n'est-ce pas?
There is the knowing and the being. In the case of the Gertrude Stein's rose, that is being -- that is the continuous present. While it is true a moving picture is a video (being), the moving picture that is a book trailer has a purpose (for knowing) that transcends say the video for comic effect, like the dead whale on the California beach that they blow up to get rid of it only to have it splatter the whole town and demolish a few cars.
