I hope anyone reading this will get on my list here to see what else I write. I also love that you blogged about Quinn Dalton -- one of my favorite people and story tellers!

I'm a member of WNBA in Nashville and I'm thinking I want to come to YOUR meetings!

I work with Susan Gregg Gilmore, who just released Looking for Salvation at the Dairy Queen, last week and I understand what you are saying about the internet. After the book launch on Tuesday night, several new book clubs spontaneously sprouted up with the theme to read books and discuss them at a DQ while enjoying a Dilly Bar. I thought Looking for Salvation at the Dairy Queen was one of the best books I'd read in years, but then seeing comments on the internet from other people who don't have any connection to Susan, was really fun.

I've bookmarked your blog and look forward to reading a lot more from you!Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12046490680107521495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-53841570921557123.post-10984017663225429862008-01-21T02:55:00.000-05:002008-01-21T02:55:00.000-05:00Excellent post and useful information,Regarding pu...Excellent post and useful information,

Regarding publishing, I heard about a website called www.pressmart.net provides the digitization services for all print publications like books, news papers, journals, magazines, etc. Many of the publishers are using the services of pressmart.net for their online publications.johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17353840961781525550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-53841570921557123.post-47159693738821530462008-01-17T22:56:00.000-05:002008-01-17T22:56:00.000-05:00Catherine,Thanks for your feedback. Mostly I ignore the messages I get from them until something moves me to respond. It's not a good way but the only way I can handle the volume of mail right now. The same thing is happening with list servs I belong to.Karren Alenierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00397066137920309207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-53841570921557123.post-12993298096477996062008-01-17T19:08:00.000-05:002008-01-17T19:08:00.000-05:00Karren, this is an excellent post. I think you touch on a key issue: how do we decide among the plethora of "social netowkring" options, YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, GoodReads-- it's all too much. How to evaluate? How to handle the avalanche of ensuing e-mail...I'd love to read more about your experiences with this.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
